Privacy: What This Site Collects and What It Does Not
QA Ground is a static publication. It has no accounts, no tracking pixels and no advertising, and this page states exactly what is recorded when you read it and what happens to anything you send.
This site publishes text. It does not ask for personal information, it has no login, no comment system, no newsletter and no advertising network. The sections below describe the only three places where any data about a visit exists.
Server logs
The web server that serves these pages keeps standard access logs, as almost every web server does. A log entry typically records the requesting IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the response status, the referring page if the browser sent one, and the user agent string. These entries exist for operational reasons: diagnosing errors, understanding load, and identifying abusive traffic.
The desk does not use these logs to build profiles of individual readers, does not attempt to identify visitors, and does not sell or share log data. Logs are retained only as long as they are operationally useful and are then discarded.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. There is no analytics script, no advertising tag, no session identifier and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. If your browser shows a stored item for this domain, it did not come from a script published here.
Third-party assets
Two external services are used to deliver assets, and requesting an asset from a third party necessarily reveals your IP address and user agent to that party. Both are named here so the exchange is visible rather than implicit.
- A public content delivery network serves the stylesheet, the icon font and the JavaScript bundle for the layout framework this site uses.
- A public font service serves the three typefaces the site is set in.
Neither is used to collect information on behalf of this site, and neither receives anything from the desk. If you block third-party requests, the pages still work: the text, structure and links are all served from this domain, and the site's own stylesheet carries the layout.
Email you send to the desk
Messages sent to the contact address are stored in an ordinary mailbox and read by the desk. They are kept while a correction or a question is being worked on, and messages that need no action are deleted. Nothing sent to the desk is published without permission, and nothing is passed to a third party except where the law requires it.
Do not send secrets. In particular, never send a seed phrase, a private key, a keystore file or an image containing any of them. This is a security rule rather than a policy preference: a key that has been transmitted anywhere should be treated as compromised, and no legitimate correspondence requires one.
Links to other sites
Pages here link to protocol documentation, reference material and other public resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this notice does not cover and the desk does not control. Following a link takes you outside this domain, and what happens there is between you and that operator.
Children
This is technical reference material for people operating trading software. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, including them.
Changes to this notice
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the modification date shown on the page reflects that. There is no separate change log because the notice is short enough to reread. If something here is unclear or appears inaccurate, write to the desk and it will be corrected on the page rather than explained away in a reply.
